So my brother recently installed the popular Kemimoto or Vokka top case from AliExpress on his Kove 800X but the factory mounting setup felt a bit weak. The included metal bars didnt hold well and risked scratching the rack when tightened too much. So he mounted it directly to the threaded holes on the rack. It wasnt a perfect fit, he had to slightly enlarge the holes in the mounting plate and use M8 screws. He also added large washers for better support and plastic spacers to prevent metal on metal contact. Simple mods and sturdier result and it works great now. Hope this helps anyone planning for a similar setup.

One thing about all these Aliexpress kits, they always need a little massaging to fit right, but yeah I think your brother did a pretty good job later on

Let me tell you, those little tweaks go a long way with AliExpress gear. If it fits tight and rides quiet, that's a win in my book.
