The 800X Pro isn't slow, but it's also not fast, so I'll try to make it faster. I'd like to start with some weight reduction, so I'd like to hear your thoughts on this. What aftermarket parts are available for this bike?
Regardless of the Kove model, focusing on unsprung and rotational mass will give you the most noticeable performance gains.
A lighter exhaust system and swapping to a lithium-ion battery can help shed a few pounds easily.
Also consider aftermarket wheels and lighter brake rotors.
But if you're after speed and handling, suspension tuning can also give you significant improvements beyond focusing on weight reductions.
Switching to a lighter battery and ditching unnecessary plastics can help too and look for quality parts that won't compromise durability, saving pounds is great, but not if you end up with headaches in future
@KoveMoto11 haven't thought about the wheels to be honest. Any specific models you have in mind?
@SHerniz yes, my goal is to keep things safe and durable not just start reducing weight for the sake of it. I know I'll probably not shave all the much, but every little point counts, right?
Only the titanium exhaust end part from Uncle Wang´s shop saves 3,5kg and looks much better than stock. You can also remove the passenger foot pegs if you order the holder for the exhaust. The 800X Pro comes already with a lithium battery.
